The drama between Prophet Ogyaba and Bishop Daniel Obinim appears far from over following their recent back‑and‑forth online, amid controversies surrounding Obinim’s marriage.

In a new video that has surfaced online, Prophet Ogyaba, who has also waded into the controversies surrounding Bishop Obinim’s marriage, has once again taken a swipe at him.

The video, shared on TikTok and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 22, 2026, shows Ogyaba, who recently described Obinim as ‘louder than his pulpit’, urging him to refrain from discussing personal issues at the altar.

According to Ogyaba, it is time for Obinim to focus on preaching the word of God rather than dwelling on what he described as irrelevant matters.

“You don’t go to church and preach about things that make sense. You are always talking about unnecessary things on your pulpit. I don’t know why your members can’t tell you the truth, that you should have your quiet time before coming to church,” he said.

Ogyaba further cautioned Bishop Obinim to accord him the respect he believes he deserves. He stressed that respect is reciprocal and that he would only show Obinim respect if the cleric did the same.

“Obinim, you don’t respect me. If you did, you would respect me as a senior pastor. If you respected me, you wouldn’t stand on your pulpit and say those things against me. Respect is reciprocal,” he added.
