Don Little blasts Atemuda over GH¢5,000 daily charge for film project

Ghanaian actor Don Little has publicly criticised his colleague Atemuda after accusing him of demanding GH¢5,000 per day to appear in one of his productions.

In a video shared on his social media platforms on June 22, 2026, Don Little expressed disappointment over what he described as Atemuda's unreasonable demand despite their long-standing friendship and working relationship.

According to Don Little, he invited Atemuda to feature in a project but was shocked when the actor allegedly insisted on receiving GH¢5,000 for each day of shooting.

“Atemuda, come here. I’ve called you to come to my set and you’re charging me GH¢5,000 per day. Have you seen such money before? Have you forgotten we’ve known each other for a long and we’ve been working together?” he said.

Don Little further claimed that his attempts to negotiate a lower fee were unsuccessful, alleging that Atemuda asked him to leave if he could not afford the amount.

“Just because I called you to come and let’s shoot a project, you’re telling me unless I pay you GH¢5,000 per day. I wanted to bargain, so I told you to reduce the price, but you asked me to leave if I can’t pay that amount,” he stated.

Don Little recalls being turned down by a woman he admired

Don Little continued, “If your landlord is sacking you from his house, is it my money that you would use to sort out your rent. Your face is scary like a monkey and you’re a fool for telling me that.”

The actor also recounted how he supported Atemuda during difficult moments in his career, including allegedly accommodating him and allowing him to use his vehicle.

The visibly angry actor went on to accuse Atemuda of being ungrateful and warned that he would not tolerate what he perceived as disrespect.

“When you were sacked from Junkatown, I was the one who hosted you. Whenever you’re stepping out, you use my car. Do you know the price of spare parts? All of a sudden, you don’t remember all the things I’ve done for you,” he shared.

Don Little added, “If you fall into my trap, I will deal with you. If you were to be abroad, you would be at the zoo for people to pay money and watch you.”
