Ghanaian music sensation Black Sherif may not have gotten the victory he hoped for, but his prediction about the excitement surrounding Ghana’s World Cup clash with England proved accurate.
Speaking in an interview with Apple Music before the highly anticipated encounter at the Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Black Sherif shared his expectations of what a positive result against England would mean to Ghanaians across the world.
“I am seeing Accra, like the whole city turned over. I’m telling you, like the whole of Ghana, every Ghanaian everywhere,” Black Sherif stated.

Although the match ultimately ended in a draw, scenes from both the stadium and communities across Ghana mirrored the enthusiasm he had envisioned.

Highlighting the importance of the game, Black Sherif added, “That match is so important. And if we win, the euphoria will be off the roof.”
