Kwaku Manu cautions Apostle Safo's children
Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has cautioned the children of the late industrialist and philanthropist Kwadwo Safo Kantanka to avoid actions that could tarnish the legacy their father built over decades.
Speaking on the ongoing tensions involving Adwoa Safo and Nana Kwadwo Safo Jr. (Akofena), Kwaku Manu expressed disappointment over the recent uproar and the public disputes surrounding family properties and inheritance.
According to the actor, many Ghanaians believed the controversies of family disputes and inheritance had subsided after the widely discussed Daddy Lumba saga faded from public attention.
However, he said he never expected the late philanthropist’s children, who are now adults with established social standing, to find themselves at the center of such public controversies.
“God will punish you if you tarnish your father’s image. We are still solving Daddy alumna’s issues, so when yours came out, we thought you were all adults, you are all well established, so you would seek peace,” he said

Kwaku Manu stressed that the actions of the siblings risk damaging the reputation and legacy of their father, a man he described as selfless and dedicated to helping others.
He recalled that Kojo Safo Kantanka was not known for pursuing wealth for personal gain. Instead, he often used his resources to support members of his fellowship and the wider community.
According to him, after taking his fellowship members to various programmes and events, the late businessman would distribute proceeds from their activities among them rather than keep the money for himself.
“I have watched your father since I was a boy because he wasn’t selfish, I thought about the poor and the needy. He gave out money and produce ti people for free,” he added
The actor noted that Kojo Safo’s generosity earned him widespread admiration across the country. He said many people were so inspired by his kindness that they named their children “Kantanka” despite having no biological connection to the family.
“People attended Kristo Asafo and continue to support the Kantanka name largely because of the goodwill your father built over the years. More than half of the people named their children after me even without any biological ties,” Kwaku Manu emphasized.
He further urged the family to resolve their differences peacefully, arguing that the late businessman left behind enough properties and resources for his children to share without resorting to public confrontations.
“Your father has so many properties. lands farms. There’s no place in Ghana with a better land that you father doesn’t own a property there,” he said
Kwaku Manu concluded by reminding Adwoa Safo Kantanka and Nana Akofena Kantanka that preserving their father’s image should be their top priority.
“You should be careful not to destroy the legacy your father worked so hard to build. Learn from it instead,” he stated
