'Name one thing he hasn't taken back' - Michy chides Shatta Wale over $65K house claim

Shatta Wale's ex-partner, Michy, has intensely hit back at claims that the dancehall artiste lavished her with a $65,000 house and various properties.

She has vehemently insisted that she has been responsible for supporting herself and their child, stating that she covers about 95% of their expenses.

Her response was a direct rebuttal to circulating reports stating that Shatta Wale had been financially providing for her.

Shatta, in an earlier interview on the Bonah Show claimed he had been taking good care of his baby mamas.

“Michy cannot sit down and say I have not given her $65,000 to buy a house that I saw was under construction… I bought her a car,” he said.

Michy, however, was unimpressed by the narrative being pushed.

In a series of posts on her Snapchat handle on June 24, 2026, the entrepreneur dismissed the house claim as an attempt to rewrite history at her expense.

She accused those involved of conveniently surfacing old stories whenever she appears to be thriving.

"As soon as they see you happy, they start telling people what you did in 1992. Is there anything he has given anyone that he hasn't taken back? It's common sense," she said.

She also pushed back against what she described as Shatta Wale taking credit for their son's upbringing, insisting she has carried the bulk of the responsibility herself.

"You can show up once in 2 years with bare promises like King Promise; meanwhile, I'm actively doing 95% of this job. You have no idea how expensive this child is.

“Aside from everything else I put into his upbringing, I wouldn't be proud to boast if it were me giving the bare minimum," she wrote.

Michy posted a screenshot of a GH¢15,000 shopping receipt she had sent Shatta Wale for Majesty's needs, with a promise of reimbursement that she says was never honoured.

She stated that she has chosen peace and silence despite his continuously bringing her up in conversations and warned that her patience has limits.

"I've always given maximum respect and stayed in my lane. It's peaceful over here, but it's like when I'm quietly protecting my reputation, the other side doesn't like it.

"If you notice, I only speak when necessary. Nothing concerning my past or family. Follow suit, it's not that hard. Cuz if I were you, I wouldn't push me," she wrote.
