Founder and leader of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Rev. Obofour
Founder and leader of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Rev. Obofour, has weighed in on the ongoing public controversy involving Bishop Daniel Obinim, urging restraint from all parties involved.
Speaking in a video shared on social media, Rev. Obofour said marital challenges are not unique to any one individual and should not be an excuse for public attacks.
According to him, if society were to focus on the marital problems of every couple, many people would find themselves under scrutiny.
"If we are to listen to the marital issues of everyone, I don't think we would be able to stay in the country because some people are facing a lot in their marriages," he said.
‘Enough of the irrelevant preaching’ - Ogyaba drags Obinim
The outspoken preacher stated that he has no ill feelings towards Bishop Obinim despite the ongoing discussions surrounding the pastor's reported separation from gospel musician Florence Obinim.
“If Bishop had something, and you don't like it, that doesn't mean we should drag him online. I have no hatred for Bishop Daniel Obinim. If it has happened to Obinim, tomorrow it can be anyone,” he said.
Rev. Obofour further noted that the challenges currently facing Obinim could happen to anyone, cautioning against ridicule and public condemnation.
He also addressed media personality and preacher Ogyaba, who has been publicly commenting on the controversy, urging him to tone down his criticism of the International God's Way Church founder.
“So I would tell Obinim to calm down, and also Ogyaba should equally calm down and stop dragging Obinim online," he stated.
The comments come amid heightened public debate over the controversy surrounding Bishop Obinim and his wife Florence’s marriage.
