I didn't pray for the car but God blessed me with it - Florence Obinim

Gospel musician Florence Obinim has said she did not specifically pray for the brand-new Toyota RAV4 SUV she received from Service Machinery Ghana Limited (SMGL), but credits God for the blessing.

Speaking on Peace FM on June 25, 2026, Florence said, unlike the car, she had prayed specifically for an iPhone 17 Pro Max and received it three days later through her now estranged husband, Bishop Daniel Obinim.

"The phone I was using then was very bad, so I prayed and told God, I need an iPhone 17 Pro Max. Three days after I started praying, God touched Bishop Obinim and he gifted me the phone. I hadn't even told him I needed a phone," she said.

On the RAV4, however, she said no specific prayer was said.

"I didn't even pray for the car, I won't lie to you. All I did was praise and worship God, and He saw my plight and blessed me accordingly," she told host Ola Michael.

Florence Obinim received a white 2025 Toyota RAV4 amid her marital woes with her Bishop Obinim.

Earlier, she revealed she had no car of her own and relied on Uber and public transport despite being married to one of Ghana's most prominent clergymen.

She had also disclosed that most of her music earnings were controlled by her husband, leaving her financially constrained.
