Rocky Dawuni shares heartwarming moment with Zanetor Rawlings and Samia Nkrumah

Four-time Grammy-nominated Ghanaian musician, Rocky Dawuni, has shared a touching moment with two of Ghana's most iconic political daughters at the Swiss National Day celebration held in Accra.

In a post shared on his Facebook handle on June 27, 2026, Dawuni described the evening as a special occasion for cultural diplomacy, revealing that he had the privilege of connecting with Dr Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings, daughter of former President Jerry John Rawlings, and Samia Nkrumah, daughter of Ghana's founding father Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

"It was very special to connect with my awesome and powerful sisters, Zanetor Rawlings and Samia Nkrumah, two women leaders representing excellence and an indelible lineage of our Ghanaian national character," Dawuni wrote.

The Grammy-nominated Afro Roots musician, who also serves as an official Cultural Envoy for Ghana, described the evening as a celebration of unity, built on diversity, before signing off with a prayer for the nation.

"God bless our nation as we strive forward in unity built and forged from our diversity," he added.
