Oseikrom Sikani explains why he avoids dating many women
Ghanaian musician and social media personality Oseikrom Sikani has opened up about why many people perceive him as selfish, claiming that some women make excessive financial demands shortly after getting to know him.
Speaking in a recent interview with ZionFelix, the rapper said he has no problem supporting a woman financially, but loses interest when he feels the requests are unreasonable.
“I’ve heard people say that I’m selfish. When I call these women to have fun with them, it won’t take more than 10 minutes, and they'll be requesting a huge amount of money. I won’t get such money for them,” he said.
According to Oseikrom Sikani, he considers modest requests acceptable but believes some women ask for sums that are difficult to justify.
“If it’s a normal amount like GH₵200, then it's fine, but some request GH₵10,000,” he stated.

The rapper questioned why someone who has spent their entire life in Kumasi without travelling to Accra would request such a large amount.
“Meanwhile she’s been in Kumasi all her life; she hasn’t come to Accra yet, but she’s requesting GH₵10,000. How much will she take when she visits Accra and returns?” he asked.
Oseikrom Sikani said these experiences have made him cautious about getting involved with many women, insisting that he is not the womaniser some people believe him to be.
“Because of this, I don’t like being around a lot of women. Those who know me very well know that I’m not a womanizer,” he noted.
He added that regardless of how attracted he is to someone, excessive financial demands are enough to make him walk away from the relationship.
“No matter how much I like you, when you request an unreasonable amount from me, I won’t be interested anymore. I don’t know the kind of heart ladies of nowadays have; they don’t have empathy,” he added.
