Popular American streamer IShowSpeed has sparked reactions online after appearing to ignore a South African fan seeking a photo moment to engage in a warm exchange with a Ghanaian supporter during a public appearance.

The incident occurred outside what appeared to be a stadium, where crowds had gathered ahead of a football match.

In the video circulating on social media, a South African fan could be seen carrying his national flag and following the streamer, repeatedly trying to get his attention for a picture.

Although IShowSpeed appeared to notice the fan, he did not stop to take the photo but instead continued walking.

Moments later, the content creator spotted a Ghanaian supporter dressed in a Black Stars jersey standing by the side.

He immediately walked over, greeted him warmly with an embrace and struck up a lively conversation.

Throughout the interaction, IShowSpeed repeatedly referred to himself by his Ghanaian name, “Barima Kofi Akuffo,” a name he was given during his visit to Ghana, while expressing his love for the country’s famous jollof rice.

“We got Ghana! Ghana! You got jollof rice?” he excitedly asked.

When the fan replied that he had already eaten it, the streamer jokingly expressed his disappointment.

Reacting humorously, iShowSpeed lamented that no jollof had been saved for him.

“You just ate it? You ain’t save me no jollof rice? This dude ain’t save me no Ghana jollof rice, bro. That’s crazy, Barima Kofi Akuffo can’t get jollof rice. Damn… That’s crazy, man. Nobody saved me no jollof rice. That’s insane,” he said.

The light-hearted exchange quickly won over fans online, with many praising the chemistry between the streamer and the Ghanaian supporter.

At the same time, some social media users sympathised with the South African fan, who had eagerly chased after IShowSpeed with his country’s flag but left without the selfie he had hoped for.

The video has since generated widespread discussion across social media, with viewers debating the contrasting interactions while others simply enjoyed IShowSpeed’s continued affection for Ghana and his humorous reference to his Ghanaian identity, Barima Kofi Akuffo.
