Entertainment critic Nana Frimpong Ziega has stated that watching adult content is not a bad practice.

He made this statement while encouraging couples, especially married partners, to watch it together to learn and improve their relationship.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz on July 4, 2026, he explained that he does not understand why anyone would choose to watch such content alone, arguing that it is more beneficial when shared between spouses.

“Watching adult content isn’t a bad thing, but you should watch it with your wife so both of you can learn new things together and spice up your relationship. I don’t understand why anyone would watch it alone,” he said.

He further urged men to have sexual intercourse at least twice a week, particularly those above 40 years, stating that regular intimacy is important even with busy work schedules.

“Every man should have sex at least twice a week, especially once you’re over 40. Even if you’re busy with work and don’t have much time for your wife, you should still make sure it happens at least twice a week,” he argued.

Talking about individuals watching adult content, he said not everyone is fully knowledgeable about sexual intercourse, and therefore argued that the motive behind the production of adult content is not solely for revenue, but also to educate people on how to engage in it the right way.

He further noted that a marriage counsellor he knows in Kumasi, whose name he withheld, reportedly gives couples adult content to watch on their final day of counselling, explaining that many couples struggle with intimacy after marriage, which can lead to marital challenges.
