Stonebwoy is a Ghanaian musician
Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy has responded to critics who accused him of copying another artiste simply for hosting a TikTok Live session.
During the livestream, the award-winning musician dismissed the claims, arguing that the live feature is available to everyone and cannot be owned by a single person.
“So because I am live they say I’m copying? Was a phone manufactured for just one person? So I can’t come on live? When I come on live, I have copied? It’s not my fault; the live option is on my phone,” Stonebwoy said.
Stonebwoy claps back at TikTok user who mocked his leg
The Jejereje hitmaker sarcastically challenged those making the accusations, saying that if they believed he was not supposed to go live, they should remove the feature from his phone.
“Then come and take it away. After you remove it, I will know I’m not eligible to go live. Do you think we are scared of your talks? If you can’t watch me, leave. If you’re watching too, feel it,” he added.
Stonebwoy also suggested that some social media users deliberately provoke him to attract attention and create unnecessary controversy.
According to him, such individuals are more interested in damaging his reputation than engaging in meaningful conversations.
“They are also the same people here oo. They just want a reaction, so them go poke you. Everything will be fine still. They don’t have a job; they just want to tarnish your image. I’ve been telling you guys, hate is a punishment from the devil,” he stated in English mixed with pidgin.
