Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, has shared what he believes prompted Gomoa Central Member of Parliament, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, to confront media personality Ola Michael on live television.

Speaking in an interview on Aluta FM, where he appeared as a guest, Kumchacha explained that discussions on United Showbiz are usually centred around pre-arranged topics.

According to him, Ola Michael introduced a Facebook issue that was not part of the planned discussions for the night, causing the Member of Parliament to feel that the media personality was deliberately trying to disgrace him on the programme.

The prophet argued that the discussion was already focused on a specific subject, making it unnecessary for Ola Michael to bring up past Facebook comments for discussion during the live show.

'I don't have the time to respond' - Ola Michael reacts to A-Plus' confrontation

“If we’re having a discussion and you suddenly bring up a Facebook issue, A-Plus, as a Member of Parliament, would naturally feel that Ola is trying to disgrace him because that topic was never part of the planned discussion. There was no need for Ola to introduce it,” Kumchacha said.

The confrontation between A-Plus and Ola Michael occurred during the July 5, 2026, edition of United Showbiz, where Ola Michael was reading comments from viewers directed at the MP.

As Ola Michael continued reading the comments, A-Plus interrupted him and launched into a verbal attack, describing the entertainment pundit as "senseless" and accusing him of lacking progressive thinking.

"Ola, you cannot come here and ask me anything. You are mad. He is naturally a fool. From the very first day, we said we were going to build a special economic zone, but he did not have anything important to say. The only thing he could ask was where we would get the land from. He should be progressive. He is always thinking backwards because he is a fool," A-Plus stated.

However, speaking on Neat FM on July 6, 2026, Ola Michael said he found it inappropriate to engage in a public back-and-forth over the incident, insisting that he had no intention of responding to the MP's comments.
