Ghanaian actress Xandy Kamel has opened up about the cyberbullying and body-shaming she endures on social media, revealing that the constant criticism is making her reconsider her stance on cosmetic surgery.
In a video shared on TikTok, the actress said she had always been against undergoing body enhancement procedures such as a tummy tuck or Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), choosing instead to embrace body positivity and accept herself as she is.
“I decided that when it comes to tummy tuck, BBL and all those procedures, I would never do it. I just wanted to accept myself and promote body positivity, but the comments, criticism, and insults about my stomach have become too much for me. So now, I am ready to undergo those procedures,” she said.

However, she said, with the rate at which people are trolling her, she will undergo the procedure if those same critics send her the funds.
“Everyone should make up their mind to send me something small every day so I can afford it. Send it to my MoMo. I need money to fix my stomach, so whoever comes across this video should kindly send me something,” she said.
However, she ended the video on a humorous note, stating that she might not even use the money for surgery. Instead, she will invest the funds in equipment for her business, saying she also needs financial support to grow her enterprise.
Her comments have since sparked conversations online about the impact of cyberbullying, body shaming, and the pressure public figures face over their appearance.
