Akuapem Poloo says she has never been in a relationship with AMG Armani
Actress and social media personality Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has dismissed claims that she once dated musician and Asantewaa’s baby daddy, AMG Armani.
In a TikTok video shared on July 16, 2026, Akuapem Poloo addressed the rumours after her name surfaced in conversations surrounding Asantewaa and Armani’s relationship troubles.
According to Akuapem Poloo, although she has made a conscious decision to stop responding to every rumour about her, she felt compelled to address this particular allegation because it is untrue.
“I am growing, and I’ve decided to stop reacting to any news I hear about myself. But I think this very one, I need to clear the air. I learnt Asantewaa and AMG Armani are having some issues, and people are tagging me in it. Some are saying I am happy because they have broken up and that I used to date AMG Armani. You people should get close to Armani and ask him if he has ever proposed to me,” she said.

Akuapem Poloo explained that contrary to the claims circulating on social media, she has never had a romantic relationship with Armani.
She revealed that the first time they met was at AMG Deuces’ wedding in 2021, where she had been invited by the groom.
“The first time I met Armani was at AMG Deuces’ wedding. He invited me to his wedding, and that was my first time seeing AMG Armani. So where did the story that I dated him come from?” she asked.
The actress also stressed that she deliberately keeps her relationships away from social media, adding that not everything she posts online reflects her personal life.
According to her, posts on her page are simply created for trends or to promote music and should not be interpreted as evidence of a relationship.
“I told you guys that I have never posted my relationship on social media. If you see anything, it’s for trends. Maybe I want to hype something or someone’s song. I don’t post my private life on social media,” she noted.
Akuapem Poloo further stated that Asantewaa even knows there has never been anything romantic between her and Armani.
While acknowledging that there was nothing preventing them from dating if they had wanted to, she insisted that it never happened and that Armani had never expressed romantic interest in her.
“Even Asantewaa herself knows that I have never dated Armani. Armani has never proposed to me. We have never gone out. It’s not that he isn’t a guy I could go out with, but we have never tried it,” she added.
