'If a student lured you into sex, you're the weakest teacher ever'- Vida Adutwumwaa on Bole SHS case

Media personality Vida Adutwumwaa has criticised the teacher at the centre of the alleged sexual misconduct case involving a female student at Bole Senior High School.

Vida has argued that no teacher should be influenced into having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Her comments come amid ongoing public discussions surrounding the case, with reports indicating that the teacher, who was interdicted by the Ghana Education Service (GES), is allegedly on the run as investigations continue.

Speaking in a video shared by Vida Unfiltered Studios on July 16, 2026, Vida Adutwumwaa said a teacher who allows a student to lure him into a sexual relationship is unfit to work with children.

"If you're a teacher and your student can lure you into sleeping with her, then you're the weakest teacher I've ever seen. If indeed the girl is spoiled and she could deceive a chemistry teacher into sleeping with her, you don't deserve to be seen around school children in the first place. You are so weak," she said.

She also questioned whether the female student involved had received any psychological support following the incident.

"As the investigations are ongoing, the female student whose neck was hanging behind, we didn't know what was happening to her. We don't know if there was any psychological help, but we didn't know what was happening," she stated.

Vida further noted that while the teacher had been interdicted and investigations were nearing completion, reports that he had allegedly absconded were worrying.

"As for the teacher, he was interdicted. Investigations went on, GES is about to release what they saw, only to be told that the Bole SHS teacher has run away," she shared.

According to her, teachers have a responsibility to guide and mentor students, not exploit them.

"You're responsible for guiding and mentoring the school children, but they didn't say you should sleep with them," she stressed.

Vida Adutwumwaa also questioned the manner in which the teacher is being sought, asking whether authorities had officially confirmed the identity of the individual whose image has been circulating online.

"Has the school confirmed that the teacher we're looking for is the one in the picture? The Bole SHS teacher is wanted. If you want citizens to help find the teacher, which image has been attached to make it easy to identify and find him?" she queried.
