Kumchacha is a Ghanaian prophet
Founder and leader of Heaven's Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, has boldly claimed that gospel musician Diana Asamoah cannot match his knowledge of the Bible despite her years in ministry.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on UTV's Atuu on July 18, 2026, Kumchacha described Diana Asamoah as his "sister" but insisted she falls short when it comes to quoting scriptures.
"She is my sister, but she's small. Diana Asamoah will admit that she's small when it comes to Bible quotations. One day, both of us should be invited on air to quote the Bible, and you will understand what I'm talking about," he said.
According to the preacher, although Diana Asamoah excels in evangelism and preaching, she cannot rival him in biblical knowledge.
"She is good for evangelism and preaching, but she can't compete with me in quoting the Bible. In the whole of Ghana, I'm the first and only prophet who knows the Bible," he claimed.

Kumchacha stated that his more than three decades of ministry have equipped him with extensive knowledge of scripture.
"I've been doing this for 35 years. Some of the pastors who call themselves prophets used to listen to my preaching many years ago. I had a preaching cassette, and they used to listen to it until they became born again," he shared.
The preacher further claimed that he had mentored several well-known men of God before they rose to prominence.
"If I should mention the men of God whom I used to mentor years ago, you will be amazed," he stated.
Touching on his journey into ministry, Kumchacha noted that he never attended a pastoral or Bible school, stressing that divine calling is not determined by formal theological education.
"I never attended pastoral school. God's calling is not determined by attending Bible school. God's work was a prophecy to me. I loved the work, but I didn't become a prophet because I loved it. When I was young, a lot of pastors prophesied to me that I would do the Lord's work," he added.
