'My sister hasn't divorced her husband yet' – Asantewaa's brother asserts

Kayverli, the brother of Ghanaian content creator and influencer Asantewaa, has claimed that his sister is still legally married, despite having two children with Armani.

Speaking during a recent TikTok Live, Kayverli alleged that Asantewaa's husband has repeatedly reached out to him to express frustration over the state of their marriage.

"My sister hasn't divorced her husband yet. There's nothing like ex-husband. She would come on social media and write 'failed marriage' as if the husband was the problem. After all the things you've done to this man, he sometimes calls me to lament to me as his brother-in-law," he claimed.

According to Kayverli, Asantewaa's actions have strained her husband's relationship with his family.

"She has disgraced all his family members. Recently, Asantewaa posted something about her and AMG Armani. Her husband called me to complain that they're not divorced yet, so he doesn't know why she kept calling him her ex-husband," he alleged.

Kayverli further claimed that he once advised his sister to stop making such posts after she alleged on Snapchat that her ex-husband was threatening her.

"There was a time she posted on Snapchat that her ex-husband was threatening her. I texted her and advised her to stop the things she's doing as her brother, but she ignored me," he said.

To support his claims, Kayverli played what he described as voice notes from Asantewaa's husband during the livestream.

In the audio, the man alleged that their marriage had not officially ended and appealed to Kayverli to intervene.

"The marriage is not over yet, but she wants me to live her life the way she wants it. Talk to your sister. This is a matter of the heart. I don't want to act out of anger and end up in prison," the voice note said.

The husband further claimed that the marital issues had taken a toll on his emotional well-being.

"For the past two years, I've not really had a good sleep. I always wake up before 2 a.m. What she's doing doesn't make sense to me. Because of her, I don't have anybody again. My relationship with my family is spoilt because of her. You just wake up one day and you're no longer interested in me, so I should allow you to do whatever you want. I'm a human too, or don't I have blood running through me?" he lamented.
