'I was reported for wearing underwear to the bathroom' – Agradaa recounts prison experience

Evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Agradaa, has shared details of her experience in prison, describing the conditions as humiliating and urging the public to stay away from anything that could land them behind bars.

According to her, inmates are required to comply with strict prison regulations, including undergoing inspections before taking their baths.

Speaking during a TikTok Live session on July 22, 2026, Agradaa revealed that she was once reported by a prison officer for wearing underwear to the bathroom, explaining that inmates were expected to enter the bathing area without clothing for inspection.

She stated that the experience was particularly embarrassing, noting that prison officials inspected every inmate regardless of age or social status.

"An officer reported me because I wore underwear to the washroom. We were expected to go inside naked and they do inspections. Imagine an older woman like me being asked to expose myself for them to inspect my armpit hair and pubic hair," she said.

Agradaa also advised her followers to avoid actions that could lead to imprisonment, stressing that prison life strips people of their privacy and dignity.

"You all should be careful because prison is not a good place to be. When you're in your house, you could be relaxing in your jacuzzi, but in prison, you have to use the bathroom with your fellow inmates. You don't have a choice, so you must comply," she shared.

She further recounted the challenges women face in prison during their menstrual periods, describing the shared bathroom experience as unpleasant.

"To the women, when you're alone at home and you're menstruating, you know how it feels. Now imagine having to share one bathroom with other women who are also menstruating. It's very sad and disgusting," she noted.

According to Agradaa, prison authorities do not make distinctions based on age, wealth, or social status, as every inmate is expected to follow the same rules.

"They don't regard anyone as elderly, young, rich or poor. Everyone would see your nakedness no matter who you are. If you don't take your bath as expected, your fellow inmates will report you," she added.
