Nigerian actress Bambam Olawunmi has revealed that she never expected Love in Every Word to become the project that transformed her career and earned her global recognition.

Speaking on Channel One TV's Breakfast Daily on July 23, 2026, ahead of the staging of No Man of God: The Musical, Bambam said neither she nor the production team anticipated the film's overwhelming success.

"None of us thought it would be that film. It's been a blessing. Shout out to Omoni Oboli TV, the writer, and everyone who came together to make it happen. Thank God for the opportunity," she said.

According to the actress, the popularity of her character, Achalugo, has made her instantly recognisable across the world.

"There is nowhere in the world where someone doesn't know Achalugo," she said.

Bambam attributed the film's success to her commitment to giving her best in every role, regardless of the size of the production.

"I don't care if my audience is one person or one thousand. I do not compromise the quality of my performance. Whether it's a Netflix project or a one-man show, I always give my all," she stated.

She added that consistency, hard work and faith have been key to her journey, saying she believes her breakthrough came at the right time.

"I believe what happened is exactly what the Bible says: that a diligent person will stand before kings. I think that's what happened, and God chose that for me," she said.

Written by Mfon-Abasi Michael Inyang, Love in Every Word has become one of Nigeria's biggest YouTube film successes, with the first part garnering more than 25 million views and the second surpassing 33 million views.
