‘No Man of God’ musical thrills audience ahead of November movie release

The second phase of the highly anticipated “No Man of God” project came to life on Friday, July 24, 2026. The Musical, was an immersive production that offered audiences a first taste of the film’s original soundtrack ahead of its November premiere.

The nearly three-hour production featured a seamless blend of live music, theatrical performances, and captivating stagecraft, keeping patrons engaged from start to finish.

Beyond the music, the production delivered visually stunning performances from acrobats and dancers who elevated the theatrical experience. The acrobats thrilled the audience with breathtaking fire acts, gravity-defying stunts, body-bending routines, and high-energy tricks that drew loud applause throughout the evening.

Their performances, combined with choreographed dance sequences and other theatrical elements, added excitement and intensity to the musical.

Unlike a conventional stage musical, the production served as the official unveiling of the original songs that will feature in the upcoming “No Man of God” movie, marking the second chapter of the project’s unique three-phase rollout.

The first phase, held on May 2, 2026 at the UPSA auditorium, was the launch of the “No Man of God” book, while the third and final phase will be the release of the movie in November.

Audience members were treated to 15 original songs performed in multiple languages, including Twi, Ga, Ewe, English, Yoruba and Swahili, reflecting the production’s rich cultural diversity. All the songs were written and composed by John Quora, the creative force behind the film’s musical direction.

Among the night’s standout moments was a soulful performance by Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas, who impressed patrons with her vocal delivery and stage presence.

Nigerian actress BamBam also earned loud applause after delivering a powerful vocal performance that showcased another side of her talent beyond acting.

The evening concluded on a high note as the cast received a standing ovation from an appreciative audience, with many patrons leaving the National Theatre praising the production’s music, storytelling, cultural richness and spectacular stagecraft while expressing anticipation for the film’s release in November.
