Nigerian actress and reality TV star BamBam has attributed her graceful personality and feminine demeanour to the guidance of God rather than conscious effort.
Speaking to GhanaWeb’s Patience Adu on the sidelines of the ‘No Man of God’ musical at the National Theatre on Friday, July 24, 2026, the actress dismissed assertions that she puts in extra effort to maintain the soft and elegant personality fans have come to love.
When asked what it takes to remain the “soft and feminine” BamBam despite the pressures of the entertainment industry, she said her personality comes naturally.

“It’s the grace and mercy of God that is keeping body and soul together. I don’t try to do anything. I just follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in everything I do, and what you see is what you get,” she said.
The actress also disclosed that she is selective about the projects she accepts, explaining that every script must align with her long-term career goals.
According to BamBam, she has rejected movie roles in the past because they did not fit the direction she envisions for her acting career.
“Every script has to align with my trajectory. Every actor should have a trajectory and things they’re trying to achieve with their performances over time. So definitely, if a script does not align with my trajectory, I don’t take it,” she explained.
However, when pressed to reveal what that trajectory is, the actress playfully declined.
“That’s for me to know and for you to find out,” she said with a smile.
Beyond discussing her career, BamBam shared her admiration for Ghana and its people.
Having spent a few days in the country, she said she has been learning some Twi phrases and praised Ghanaians for their warmth and hospitality.
“Ghanaians are kind, they’re honest, they’re fun, and they love me, so I love them right back,” she noted.
