The United Kingdom (UK) police have reportedly cancelled Ghanaian artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale’s, highly anticipated Shattafest 2026 concert.
According to multiple reports, the cancellation follows safety and health concerns cited by police officials.
Videos circulating on social media show some individuals expressing disappointment over the decision, while others are demanding refunds for tickets purchased for the event.
Other footage shows police officers dispersing the crowd from the venue.
The anticipated event was scheduled to take place at Copthall Playing Fields, located on Champions Way, London, NW4 1PS, on August 1, 2026.
