Andy Dosty opens up on his special relationship with Delay
Ghanaian radio presenter Andy Dosty has expressed his deep admiration and loyalty to media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Atuu on August 16, 2026, Andy Dosty described Delay as someone he cherishes deeply, stressing that he would take any attack on her personally.
“Delay is someone I cherish so much. Anyone who will attack her has attacked me and that’s how much I love her,” he said.
According to Andy Dosty, his relationship with Delay dates back to a period when she was still building her name in the media space.
He said he witnessed her rise to prominence and remained close to her even as her career grew.
“I saw her rise and rise. When I knew her, she wasn’t that relevant. When things were going well for her, she remembered me,” he stated.

Andy Dosty also recounted how close the two became, revealing that Delay would sometimes visit him at the radio station and wait until he finished his programme before they went out to eat.
“Delay would drive here to wait for me as I’m on air on the radio till I close, then we would go and eat,” he recalled.
He further revealed that their friendship extended beyond their professional lives, with Delay making time for him on special occasions.
“On my birthday, she would ask me to come to her house or her shop and I would be with her the whole day. That’s how close we are,” he added.
