Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun has recounted how some of his colleagues allegedly attempted to damage his reputation during a meeting with a wealthy and influential individual.
In a post shared on Instagram on August 21, 2026, Prophet Elbernard revealed that the pastors, whose identities he withheld, allegedly made several negative remarks about him and his ministry while speaking with a prominent businessman.
According to him, the pastors sought to portray him in a bad light by making claims that he insists were untrue.
Prophet ElBernard apologises after failed election prophecy
“Some Ghanaian pastors once had the opportunity to meet a very wealthy, influential, and well-connected man. During their conversation, my name, Bernard Elbernard, came up. What followed was an attempt to destroy my reputation.
“They said all kinds of negative things about me and my ministry, including things that were simply not true,” he said.
Prophet Elbernard further disclosed that the businessman’s daughter, who happened to be present during the meeting and was an admirer of his ministry, challenged the allegations made against him.
According to the preacher, she defended him and questioned the claims being made in his absence.
“While they were talking, the man’s only daughter walked into the meeting. What they didn’t know was that she followed me and genuinely admired my ministry.
“She couldn’t sit there and listen quietly. She challenged what they were saying and defended me in my absence."

The preacher added that the meeting did not end as the pastors had anticipated.
According to him, the influential businessman eventually asked the pastors to leave and later reached out to him personally.
“Eventually, the meeting did not end the way they expected. They were asked to leave, and later, this influential man personally called me,” he added.
