Funny Face is a Ghanaian comedian and actor
Ghanaian comedian and actor Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face, has disclosed that he once resorted to drugs whiles battling depression, revealing that Kasoa boys introduced him to drug use.
Speaking on Kasapa FM, the comedian recalled that when he was depressed after losing custody of his children, the Kasoa boys told him he needed to calm down. When he asked how he could calm down, they introduced him to drugs, which he now describes as a bad habit.
According to Funny Face, he is now an advocate against drug use because he believes that when one is going through a difficult moment in life and adds drugs to it, it could worsen the situation.
“Kasoa boys introduced me to drugs. They said ‘Uncle this thing that you are going through, you will die, you need to calm down’ and I asked ‘How can I come down?’ and they told me to go and take one roll, which is bad. That is why now I am an advocate against it because whatever you go through, if you add drugs to it, it will become worse,” he said.
