Ghanaian media personality and two‑time Guinness World Records singathon contender Afua Asantewaa has joined the growing conversation about musician Barosky and his current situation in the UK.

In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on August 26, 2026, Afua Asantewaa argued that bringing Barosky back to Ghana may not be the right solution.

According to her, while it would be good for him to receive proper care in Ghana, if his condition is destined to worsen, relocating him may not change the outcome.

“They shouldn’t take Barosky home. If it is not too late, they shouldn’t take him home. They should sit the man down, talk to him, help him, and establish him. His situation would get worse if it is left to be,” she said.

Afua Asantewaa, in the same video, also debunked the narrative that Ghanaians are lazy.

According to her, a lazy person cannot survive in Canada, arguing that the difficult conditions there often force Ghanaians to work extremely hard to survive.

“If you are not a hardworking individual, you can’t live in Canada. People move from Ghana to Canada, and they are still lazy. Africans are extremely hardworking people.

“And you will be surprised to see a hardworking Ghanaian because they are really hardworking if they want to be,” she added.
