Sammy Flex is Shatta Wale's Public Relations Manager
Sammy Flex, Public Relations Manager for Shatta Wale, has established that, unlike other veteran creatives, the late Grace Nortey did not have to publicly beg for support during her illness before her passing.
He made this post on X on August 26, 2026, while expressing his condolences and sharing profound memories of the late veteran Ghanaian actress, Grace Nortey.
“May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace. At least, in the days leading to her passing, we never heard her being described as a ‘charity case.’ That alone is something worth reflecting on because it speaks to one of the painful realities and worries within our creative industry — the uncertainty of what happens to our legends when the spotlight eventually fades,” he said.

Sammy Flex also shared how the late Grace Nortey blessed the screens of Ghana and beyond with her amazing talent, adding that the memories created through her movies cannot be forgotten.
“Maame Grace Nortey, you served Ghana and the world with your incredible talent, dedication, and unforgettable contribution to the movie industry. You gave us memories that will live far beyond your time on earth.
“May God grant you eternal rest, and may your legacy continue to speak for you. Rest well, Maame Grace Nortey. You served us well,” he added.
