'My jollof is the best in the world' - Sarkodie boasts in resurfaced interview

A resurfaced video of Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie declaring that he makes the best jollof in the world has gained massive traction online, following Stonebwoy’s recent claim that he cooked jollof for Sarkodie at his home amid their ongoing exchanges on X.

In the Capital XTRA interview, Sarkodie confidently maintained that his jollof ranks “top two” at the very least, challenging anyone who has tasted it to dispute his claim.

When the interviewer reminded him that he had previously said that his jollof was the best, Sarkodie replied: “Yeah, top two. I know I am creating room for somebody but it has to be top two. Hands down.”

Asked what makes his jollof so special, the rapper admitted he could not explain it but insisted those who have eaten it could testify to its quality.

“I can’t explain but you can ask the people who had it all,” he said.

To support his claim, Sarkodie named Nigerian singers BNXN (formerly Buju), Wande Coal, as well as American rapper Ludacris, as some of the celebrities who have tasted his Jollof.

“Just to be fair, ask the Nigerians. Buju has been there… Wande Coal. Call them right now and ask them. I had them on camera, they can’t lie. And Ludacris,” he added.

The clip has resurfaced and gained renewed attention after Stonebwoy, amid his ongoing back-and-forth with Sarkodie on X, stated that he had cooked jollof for the rapper in his house, sparking conversations among fans about the two musicians’ relationship.
