Leader of the International God's Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has rained down a series of curses on Ghanaian journalist Ola Michael after the latter reported marital issues concerning him and his wife.
Recently, during his show on Neat FM, Ola Michael said a family member of Bishop Obinim had informed him about the divorce.
According to the journalist, he learned about the divorce after Florence Obinim took drinks to Bishop Obinim's family to officially end their marriage.

“...What the family member told me was that Florence's family had returned the drinks, saying they were tired of the disgrace, insults, and everything else that had happened. I asked him whether, when the family returned the drinks, Bishop Obinim collected them, and he said the bishop hurriedly directed that they should take them,” Ola shared.
Later, during a church service on September 8, 2026, Bishop Obinim was heard invoking curses on the journalist.
Obinim explained that Ola Michael's claim that a family member informed the journalist about his divorce from Florence was incorrect.
According to him, only three people were involved in the whole issue, adding that God will deal with the journalist.
Subsequently, Obinim was heard in the same audio shared by Gossips24 Avenue using water, air, and other elements to invoke curses on the journalist.
“The person who said that my relative informed him that I happily took the drinks; I leave the person to God. As I pour this oil on the floor, may God deal with Ola. I invoke curses on him if he comes into contact with the wind and water.
"He will suffer. He should have reported the issue as hearsay. He shouldn't have said my relative informed him," he said.

Bishop Obinim also questioned why his wife, Florence Obinim, reported their marital issues to Prophet Ogyaba.
According to him, he respects several individuals; hence, the gospel musician could have taken the issue to them instead of Ogyaba.
"I don't know why Florence even took my issue to Ogyaba. Why didn't she take the case to any other person? My mother, father, and church members are there, and she didn't report to anyone other than Ogyaba.
"She told Ogyaba the issue for him to do what, exactly? Because when she informed Ogyaba of the issue, he came on social media to disgrace me. They are killing me slowly," he added.
