Vicky Zugah says loss of sexual attraction should concern couples
Ghanaian actress and media personality Vicky Zugah has described a partner’s consistent desire for intimacy as a positive sign in a relationship.
She argued that couples should appreciate it rather than see it as a problem.
In a video shared on social media on September 24, 2026, Vicky mentioned that some people may complain when their partners frequently seek intimacy, but she believes the bigger concern is when a partner loses sexual attraction towards them.
“Having a partner who constantly wants sex with you is actually a green flag. Some of you see this as a problem, but the real problem starts when your partner is no longer sexually attracted to you,” she said.
According to the actress, intimacy can play an important role in maintaining emotional and romantic connection between partners.

“Intimacy builds connection and it reminds both of you that you are still lovers and not just partners,” she stated.
She further argued that when affection, flirting and physical closeness begin to disappear from a relationship, it could be a sign that something has changed.
“Once the flirting and touching stop, it means his or her attention is drifting somewhere. Be assured that it means someone else is in the picture,” she shared.
She therefore urged people not to unnecessarily push their partners away when they remain emotionally invested in the relationship.
“Stop pushing your partner away. If they’re still emotionally invested in you, value it,” she added.
