‘Stop being lazy and entitled’ - Nana Aba Anamoah tells women

Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has shared her thoughts on how some young ladies tend to pressure men to provide for them.

In a post shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on September 29, 2026, Nana Aba noted that women should refrain from feeling entitled and piling unnecessary pressure on men.

She explained that men do not always have the resources to meet every request and should not be expected to provide for women whenever they are asked.

"Stop piling unnecessary pressure on men. The fact that he’s a man doesn’t mean he’s automatically responsible for providing whatever a woman asks for. What if he simply doesn’t have it at that particular time?" she said.

Nana Aba also noted that women should instead work for their needs.

"What exactly is he supposed to do? Steal? Being a man doesn’t make money magically appear. She could’ve asked someone else, yes, but she could have worked for it too through her job or by getting a job," she added.
