Calvin Fosu announces Daddy Lumba Legacy Concert as part of one-year memorial

Calvin Fosu, son of late legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba, has announced a legacy concert to honour his father’s memory as part of his one-year memorial.

In a video shared on his TikTok page, Calvin invited Ghanaians and fans of the late music icon to attend the event, which is scheduled to take place on December 19, 2026, at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

According to him, the concert will celebrate the life, legacy, and timeless music of Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, with an evening filled with music, celebration, and cherished memories.

“On the 19th of December, I plead with you all to come and support us on behalf of our late father, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba, to celebrate his one-year memorial at UPSA,” he said.

“This will be an unforgettable night of music, celebrations and memories as we honour the life, legacy and timeless music of our legend,” Calvin added.

The announcement has generated excitement among fans, many of whom are expected to gather to pay tribute to one of Ghana’s greatest highlife musicians and celebrate the enduring impact of his music.
