‘Rich men do it, so why not women?’ - Delay weighs in on age-gap relationships

Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, has once again caused a stir online following a statement she made about dating younger men.

In a post shared on X on October 10, 2026, Delay questioned why older women are scrutinised when they choose to date younger men.

According to Delay, wealthy men are often given the liberty to have affairs with younger women; however, the same acceptance is not extended to older women, particularly those who are wealthy.

She further questioned why it has become taboo for women to freely choose their partners without being criticised by society.

“Why is it okay for rich men to be with younger women, but taboo for rich women to be with younger men?” she asked.
