Rapper AMG Armani has responded to allegations made against him by his baby mama, Ghanaian TikToker Asantewaa, releasing a new song in which he has made several counterclaims about their past relationship.
On October 10, 2026, the rapper released a track titled “Thanks,” using the song to share his side of the story following weeks of public disagreement with Asantewaa after their relationship ended.
In the song, AMG Armani accused Asantewaa of being ungrateful despite the support he claims to have given her during their relationship.
He also took issue with her decision to discuss their personal matters on social media, arguing that she has made claims against him despite saying she had moved on and found a new partner.
The rapper’s response comes after Asantewaa made several allegations about their relationship on social media, including claims about financial difficulties, the care of their children, and how she was treated while they were together.
AMG Armani claims he paid Asantewaa’s GH¢100,000 debt
Blow-by-blow account of Asantewaa's fallout with brother, baby daddy and matters arising
One of the major claims in “Thanks” concerns an alleged debt of GH¢100,000 linked to a susu group that Asantewaa reportedly led.
According to AMG Armani, Asantewaa came under pressure after allegedly spending money belonging to members of the group while she was responsible for keeping the funds.
The rapper claims he stepped in to help her settle the debt, taking responsibility for the GH¢100,000 payment on her behalf.
He appears to raise the issue as an example of the support he said he provided during their relationship, questioning why Asantewaa would make allegations against him publicly despite what he claims to have done for her.
However, these claims were made by the rapper in his song and have not been independently verified.
He accuses Asantewaa of cheating during US trip
AMG Armani also claimed he paid for Asantewaa to travel to the United States during their relationship.
However, he alleged that she cheated on him while she was in the US, suggesting that the incident contributed to the problems between them.
The rapper does not present the song as a response to only one allegation. Instead, he uses it to recount several experiences from their relationship.
Rapper claims he paid rent and provided a shop for Asantewaa
Beyond the alleged debt and US trip, AMG Armani claimed he supported Asantewaa financially by paying her house rent and providing her with a shop to run her business.
He then questioned why she would choose to discuss their disagreements on social media rather than pursue legal action if she believes he has wronged her.
The rapper suggested that if Asantewaa had any serious complaint against him, she should've taken the matter to court instead of using social media to discuss their private affairs.
What Asantewaa said about AMG Armani
The release of “Thanks” follows a series of social media posts in which Asantewaa accused AMG Armani of mistreating her during their relationship.
In one of the posts, the TikToker alleged that the rapper locked her out of their home for an entire night.
She expressed frustration over what she described as men’s unwillingness to accept responsibility for the pain they cause their partners, writing that men “never take accountability for what they put us through.”
Asantewaa had also claimed that she financially supported AMG Armani during their relationship, including helping him with money while taking responsibility for their children’s school fees herself.
She further alleged that although she helped him financially, the rapper directed money towards other women.
