Obinim and Ogyaba’s public feud deepens over marital issues and longstanding grievances
The leader of Holiness of Christ Zion Ministry, Prophet Ogyaba, has expressed disappointment in the Ghana Police Service for allegedly allowing Bishop Daniel Obinim to continue preaching without being arrested over claims that he has video evidence linking him to a murder.
According to Ogyaba, if Obinim's claim that he reported an alleged murder case to the police and provided evidence is true, the police should have questioned Obinim and treated the matter with the urgency it deserves.
Ogyaba argued that since Obinim claims to possess evidence linking him to an alleged murder, he should be treated as a person of interest and subjected to questioning by investigators.
“This is a murder case, not a trivial matter. Therefore, if it is true that Obinim has reported the case to the police, I am disappointed in the police for allowing him to stand before his congregation again. A case as serious as murder should have led to his arrest by now, while arrangements are made for me to return to Ghana.
Murder, Threesome, Others: Bishop Obinim makes daring allegations against Prophet Ogyaba
“Someone has reported an alleged murder case involving me. After receiving the complaint, the police should have arrested him and sent a signal for me to hurry back to Ghana to assist with investigations,” Ogyaba said.
He further stated that if the matter has indeed been reported to the authorities, he would fully cooperate with any investigation.
Ogyaba said he would report himself to the police immediately upon returning to Ghana to assist with the investigation.
Earlier, Bishop Daniel Obinim alleged that, based on information he had received and purported video evidence provided by social media personality Ohemaa Dynamite, Prophet Ogyaba was involved in the killing of an individual and the subsequent disposal of the body, among other allegations.
Addressing his congregation on October 20, 2026, Obinim claimed that he had reported the alleged murder to the police and vowed to ensure that Ogyaba faces the law.
