Oteele says woman was unaware he recorded their intimate moment
Ghanaian actor and comedian Oteele has opened up about the leaked intimate video that went viral on social media, revealing that the woman captured in the footage didn't know he was recording.
Speaking in a recent interview with Nayas, sighted by GhanaWeb, Oteele explained that he recorded the video himself but did not have a specific purpose for doing it at the time.
He explained that he had intended to delete the video once he got home but failed to do so, a decision he now regrets following its leak.
“The woman involved didn’t know I was recording. I planned on deleting it when I got home, but I didn’t,” he shared.

According to him, he only began questioning his decision to record the footage after it was leaked and circulated widely on social media.
“When I took the video, I didn’t know what I was using it for. I recorded everything myself, and after the video was leaked, I was asking myself why I even recorded it in the first place,” he said.
Reflecting on the incident, Oteele said he now sees the experience as a lesson, believing that the unfortunate situation was meant to teach him something.
“I felt that was meant to happen for me to learn my lessons. That’s why I forgot,” he added.
