Nana Aba Anamoah is a Ghanaian media personality
Media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has sparked conversation after revealing that, in hindsight, she might have chosen not to have a child.
Speaking on Starr FM on October 28, 2026, the broadcaster said she had always wanted to have only one child, explaining that her decision was influenced by the kind of lifestyle she wants to lead and her desire to provide the best for her child.
Nana Aba admitted that, in retrospect, she sometimes wonders whether she would have made the same decision to become a parent.
“I always wanted one child. This may sound controversial, but I keep saying that if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have even had a child,” she said.

Despite the reflection, she noted that she was comfortable having one child because it allowed her to focus on providing the child with the best opportunities while maintaining the lifestyle she desired.
The broadcaster added, “I'm comfortable with one child because I want to live a certain life. Now, I could have had a second, third, fourth, fifth child, but no, I don't want that.
“I’m okay with one because I want to give that child the best of everything. And then at the moment, I’m done paying school fees. So the focus is on me; I’m enjoying my money.”
Nana Aba further cautioned people against naming their children after her with the expectation that she would take financial responsibility for them.
“Now, don't name your child after me because you think that I have the means to take care of your child,” she added.
