'I don't like light-skinned women' - Nigel Gaisie on 'snatching' Nana Romeo's girlfriend

Founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has responded to allegations that he snatched the girlfriend of media personality Nana Romeo, insisting that he has never been attracted to light-skinned women.

Speaking in an interview on Neat FM on October 29, 2026, the preacher disclosed that Nana Romeo was once close to him and regularly approached him for financial assistance, particularly to pay his rent.

According to Nigel Gaisie, he supported the media personality with money for rent but believes Nana Romeo may not have been satisfied with the amount he gave him.

“Nana Romeo became my son and used to come to me for rent. I stand to be corrected. In case he hears this and has a problem with some things I say, he should forgive me. I gave him rent money,” he said.

He further explained that Nana Romeo once told him that his mother was living in Kasoa or another location, and that he was experiencing financial pressure at the time.

“Later, he told me his mother was living in Kasoa or somewhere else, and at the time, there was a lot of pressure on me. I can’t give what I don’t have. If you want 10 and I give you 2, that is what I have. I think maybe he was not satisfied with the little I gave him,” he stated.

Nigel Gaisie also said someone might have told Nana Romeo that his female companion had visited him alone with her child, a situation he believes could have contributed to the allegations.

“I also don’t know if one of my juniors also told him that his female companion had visited me alone with her child,” he shared.

Addressing the claims that he had an affair with Nana Romeo’s girlfriend, the preacher firmly denied the allegation, using his preference in women to dismiss the suggestion.

“I can tell you on this platform that I don’t like light-skinned women. The lady was really light-skinned. I have never dated such women before, and I won’t do it,” he added.
