BUSY BODY, founded by Nene Osom, has brought music and visual art enthusiasts together through an immersive creative experience designed to give participants a closer look at the processes behind artistic production.

The event, dubbed DIY = Do It Together, was held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Ka xoxowo Salon in Accra, featuring artiste Alorman, music producer Master Maison and painter Gusikende Seyon.

The experience moved beyond traditional music performances and art exhibitions by allowing attendees to observe and engage with the creative processes of the featured artists.

Master Maison took participants through the technical and creative stages of music production, demonstrating how musical ideas are developed into finished sounds.

Artiste Alorman also took part in a live recording session, giving attendees an opportunity to witness the collaboration between a musician and producer as they worked on musical ideas.

In a parallel session, painter Gusikende Seyon demonstrated his creative process through live painting, developing his work in front of participants.

The event also provided an opportunity for attendees to interact with the creatives, ask questions, exchange ideas and explore the connections between music and visual art.

According to the organisers, the initiative forms part of BUSY BODY’s broader effort to create spaces where different art forms can come together and encourage collaboration, learning and community engagement.

Through DIY = Do It Together, BUSY BODY seeks to promote shared creative experiences that allow participants to appreciate not only finished artistic works but also the processes and collaborations behind them.
