Ghanaian musician Pappy Kojo has opened up about how a devastating heartbreak became a turning point in his life, revealing that the painful experience pushed him to transform both his appearance and mindset.

In a video shared online, the “Realer” hitmaker explained that he has learned to accept people for who they are instead of trying to change them, a lesson he believes came from personal experiences rather than age.

“I would say I let people be now. I trust them for who they are and then let them be. Back then I would just go after them and try to change things. It was like I had to get at you,” Pappy Kojo said.

According to the musician, personal growth is shaped by the challenges people face in life and not necessarily by how old they are.

“I don’t think it comes with age because I know people older than me who are dumb as hell. I think it comes with experiences and stuff, the things that you go through in life, like a heartbreak,” he added.

Pappy Kojo disclosed that a major heartbreak forced him to rethink his life and sparked a desire to reinvent himself.

“Like bro, that sparked everything. After that, I just felt like I had to be a new person. I had to start hitting the gym, cut my locks off, start growing out the beard. I just wanted to look different and feel different,” he revealed.
