Ace gospel musician, Florence Obinim was the toast of people that stormed the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi to take part in the Susan G. Komen Ghana Race for the Cure 2011.

The talented gospel musician proved that she is still a force to reckon with in the local gospel music industry as she put up her best show ever.

Stylishly dressed, Florence Obinim mounted the stage erected at the VIP section of the stadium to the rapturous uproar of about 10,000 people.

Poised to justifying the huge uproar which greeted her, she immediately set the ball rolling with one of her popular tracks ‘Okyeso Nyame’, which sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Florence Obinim, besides singing, also demonstrated some delicate dancing skills to the surprise of the enchanted crowd.

Ideally, Florence Obinim was suppose to sing just one song but the crowd shouted “we want more, we want more,” compelling her to return to the stage to sing another mind blowing song, ‘My God Never Fails’, with Princess Ifuoma.

The melodious music forced dignitaries such as Dr. Mrs. Beatrice Wiafe Addai to the dancing floor. The celebrated breast surgeon was seen dancing her heart out.

The Susan G. Komen Ghana Race for the Cure 2011 was organized under the auspices of Breast Care International Ghana to prevent breast cancer deaths in the country.
