The world acclaimed gospel music missionary group, Vinesong is to tour Ghana this August as part of their 11-month annual global missionary tour around the world.

For those whose lives have been and continue to be impacted by life-time relevant songs like “Holy Spirit move me now”, “Let your living water flow over my soul” and “Another touch”, this is an opportunity to experience live those Vinesongs.

The group was in Ghana last year for a brief but fully packed ministry tour, after their previous visit to the country 12 years ago in 1999.

Their return to Ghana this year is on the back of the resounding success of last year’s tour, which was not intended to be a full blown tour but turned out to be a great one in terms of the ministry opportunities and impact.

Vinesong would arrive in Accra on July 28, 2011 and stay until August 29, 2011 ministering and holding Praise and Worship Workshops at venues in Accra, Kumasi and Sunyani.

Tour organizers Sam and David of Alabaster Box have told Adom News the group would be in Kumasi between August 1 and 13, 2011 and do the second lap of their tour in Accra between August 14 and 28, 2011.

Some of the venues in Accra include Winner Chapel Ghana, Winners Chapel International, Lighthouse Chapel Cathedral (Korle Gonno, Sakumono, Achimota, Tema and Adenta), ICGC Zoe Temple in Tema, Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, Ridge Church, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and many others.

The Kumasi venues include Family Chapel, Grace Baptist Church, Redemption Assemblies of God Church and CCC and Glad Tidings Assemblies of God Church in Sunyani.

Vinesong would also make appearances on a number of TV and radio stations while in Ghana, to minister live and also interact with their old and new admirers.

Vinesong are based in England although the founder and leaders, Pastor John Watson, was born and raised as a third-generation missionary in Zimbabwe (Central Africa). The team members are from South Africa and the UK with their songs now global products.

They have released 18 albums and several videos and represent several different nations and denominations and travel the world eleven months of the year.

Although they believe in excellence in ministry, they discourage just any form of music performance. Through worship and teaching, Vinesong encourages unity and balance in the life of the believer as a necessary requirement in the preparation for revival.

The emphasis of their ministry is on the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, exhorting the listener to discover God’s destiny for their lives.

Vinesong is able to sing in 21 different languages, but they can lead entire worship services in nine languages.

As music ministers, their missionary journeys take them on a regular basis to such countries as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ghana, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lichtenstein, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA & Zimbabwe.
