Music lovers in Kumasi in the Ashangi region should lace their boots and put on their dancing shoes as two of Ghana’s finest musicians, Becca and KwabenaKwabena clash on one stage to sing their hearts out.
The month of December will witness yet another huge gathering in the joyous season of Christmas as the two heavyweights give them danceable tunes.
Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, known in musical circles as ‘Becca’ and George Kwabena Adu, nicknamed ‘Kwabena Kwabena’, lace their boots in readiness for what is anticipated to be one of the most exciting events on the nation’s 2011 entertainment calendar, ‘The 24th Nite Concert’, scheduled for the Royal Lamerta Hotel on December 24,Kumasi.
Sources within the camps of EKB Records and the management of KwabenaKwabena, have confirmed their participation in the show with a promise of unleashing what both artistes are made of, superior dancing skills, excellent stagecraft and a serenade of soothing melodies.
The night which is expected to be filled with glitz and glamour to the amusement of revelers, will see afro-pop songstress ,Becca and the silky-voiced contemporary highlife giant KwabenaKwabena among other yet-to- be named artistes setting the Golden Kingdom of Kumasi alight, in an event that is expected to present patrons of the show, a magical moment to immerse themselves in well crafted love songs ahead of the Xmas festivities.
