Another season beacons and as usual, uncertainty, rumor mongering, speculations, scandals, surprises are all part of the many things that makes the biggest and most consistent reality Television show in Africa.
Big Brother Africa season seven is on and the drama has already begun even before the show begins.
Auditions in Ghana to find two interesting people to represent Ghana in the BBA house, took place at the Holiday Inn Hotel at the Airport City, on 9th, 10th and 11th March, 2012.
Peacefmonline.com was there and we spotted familiar faces, some walked in boldly and spoke openly about their interest in being part of this years BBA others sneaked in quietly and pretended they were there for something else.
Peacefmonline.com first spotted Radio Presenter now turned Fashion Designer Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and the ‘mad’ Fante rapper Kwaw Kesse aka Abodam seated and chatting. They both said they were there to audition for BBA.
Kwaw Kesse said he believes he can make history in the house. He said after last year’s edition several people mostly his fans, family, friends and the media thinks he can play the Big Brother game well and he will do better in the house “and I think this is the right time to make the make the move”.
KOD was also there to audition as Kwaw Kesse’s partner for this year’s double entry. Two of them were very calm enjoying their drink whiles they wait for their turn to go through the audition process. Meanwhile, Peacefmonline.com investigations reveal that controversial rapper Wanlov the Kuborlor had already gone through audition earlier on.
Other stars including rapper and Radio Presenter, Trigmatic, Atompan of “The Thing” fame and “Zaaza” hit maker Hiplife artiste Cocoveli, actor Van Vicker among others have reportedly gone for audition hoping to be chosen. However, names like Afia Schwarzenegger, Comedian Funny Face, and Hiplife artiste Mzbel have also come up as people’s picks even though they have not officially expressed their interest in this year BBA.
The auditions ended yesterday Sunday March 11, 2012 and a source at Multi Choice Ghana disclosed that unlike before when celebrities audition was done separately, from the general public, the celebrities and the general public auditions were joined this time round. As we wait for the producers to announce Ghana’s rep for this year BBA who do think deserves to be picked?
