After dominating the Ghanaian gospel music industry for over a decade, the multi-talented gospel star, Evangelist Diana Asamoah, last week organised a musical concert dubbed ‘Peace Concert’ to entertain and educate the citizens of Mpraeso in the Eastern region against violence during the elections.

The peace concert, which was held at the forecourt of the chief’s palace, attracted people from Mpraeso and its surrounding villages. The venue was packed with gospel music fans who danced their hearts out to music from some Evangelist Diana Asamoah and Patrick Adu.

The event, dubbed ‘Prayer against Violence in Election 2012’, was organized in collaboration with Frimprince Music Production Limited. Diana Asamoah treated gospel music fans to an unforgettable performance. She was at her best, performing most of her hit songs.

Before the show kicked off, the Member of Parliament for Mpraeso, Hon. Kwame Acheampong, appealed to the youth to desist from acts that sought to undermine their progress and the 2012 general elections.

The MP also advised them to take the biometric registration seriously because this would enable them to vote during the elections. Evangelist Diana Asamoah used the show to sensitize Ghanaians against post election violence and the need to seek God’s intervention through prayer, preaching and powerful song ministrations.

The concert was packed with inspiring preaching of the gospel, intensive prayers and ever powerful song ministrations. Diana Asamoah, during the concert, preached and prayed for mother Ghana and sought God’s intervention in the upcoming elections.

She treated gospel music fans to an unforgettable performance. She was at her best, performing almost all the songs on her new album.
