Ghana’s biggest outdoor event, the Joy FM Annual Skuuls Reunion is set to hit Accra in a grand style come Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Independence Square in Accra.

Joy FM Annual Skuuls Reunion has served as a networking and socialisation platform, bringing together alumni of various schools to relive memories of their school days.

It brings together old students from all Ghanaian second cycle and tertiary institutions on one date, one venue and on one stage to reminisce the exciting school days.

The schools renew old rivalries at various games including five-aside football, basketball, tug-of-peace, eating and jama competitions and thrilling performances from some of Ghana’s biggest artistes.

The event, which is expected to attract over 50,000 students who would participate in various sporting activities, ‘gari soakings’, arm wrestling and other exciting activities, would also witness live musical performances by some of Ghana’s artistes.

One of Ghana’s telecommunication companies, Tigo Ghana, has also promised patrons of the Joy FM Skuuls Reunion a day to remember as it would give away several exciting gifts including the latest handsets and devices.

It would also set up tech zones to give patrons a feel of the latest devices and free wi-fi access to ensure real time updates for their selfies and social media updates.

In the run-up to the biggest alumni event in Ghana, Tigo has been running several promotions on radio and social media to bring the various secondary schools closer.

Through Tigo Cash also, alumni from various schools have been contributing towards their former schools.

As usual, there would be good food and plenty to drink with great music from some of the top African DJs.
