The much-awaited nominations list of the Kumawood Akoben Movie Awards (KAFFA) 2014 has been released by the organisers of the awards.
Some of the nominees for this year’s awards include Kwadwo Nkansah, Nana Ama McBrown, Agya Koo, Kyeiwaa, Kwaku Manu and others.
The awards, which is being organised by Kumawood Multimedia (Sam- Dackus Initiative) and AdomTV (a channel on MultiTV) with support from major stakeholders of the film industry, would take place on Saturday, December 27 at Golden Tulip in Kumasi.
The awards scheme, according to the organisers, is an annual event to recognise and reward deserving movie icons such as actors and actress, writers, directors, producers, technicians and other personalities in the local filmmaking industry of Ghana for their hard work, dedication and contribution to the movie industry.
