Best High School Rapper to be chosen by Sprite Xpressions on Dec 24

The search for Ghana’s High School chief rapper for 2014 will end at the Aviation Social Centre when this year’s Sprite Xpressions event is held on December 24.

Many of the country’s budding talents will go at each other in a battle to settle once and for all the question of who reigns supreme when it comes to rap, street dance and slam dunks in the country.

The Aviation Social Centre in Accra will be the centre of attraction when thousands gather to witness the grand contest of the year.

The one-day event will attract many seasoned artistes and famous TV stars who are expected to influence the kids positively. Over 100 schools are scheduled to participate in the event. The school reps will compete in rap contest, street dance and slam dunk events as well as others.

Schools such as Accra Academy, St Thomas Aquinas, Labone, Presec-Legon, Accra Girls, Aburi Girls, St Mary’s, Ebenezer, Kinbu, Mfantsipim, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Winneba Senior High, Nungua Senior High, Apam, Aggrey Memorial Zion, Wesley Girls, Opoku Ware, Prempeh College, Sunyani Senior High, Kings College (Kumasi), St Martins, St Peters, Mawuli, Keta Senior and Yaa Asantewaa will all be represented.

Others include Krobo Girls, Oda Senior High, St Louis, Kumasi Anglican, Ofori Panyin, Odorgonno, Tema Senior High, Chemu Senior High, Ghana National College, St Augustines, Abuakwa State College, Adisadel College, Koforidua Secondary Technical School (KSTS), Adonteng, Pope Johns, Awudome, TI Ahmadiyya, Holy Child, Mfantseman Girls, St Roses and St Stephens (Akyem Asiakwa) are set to converge at the event grounds.

The winner of the rap competition will get a mouth-watering record deal. The famous Sprite Xpressions which heralds the famous Sprite Ball Championship is expected to reveal the country’s finest talents at the Senior High level.

All roads lead to the Aviation Social Centre on Wednesday 24th December, 2014 for the much-awaited Sprite Xpressions event which starts at 1pm.
