PaeDae recently in R2Bees marathon radio interview run took time out to react to all the hate he was getting on and off social media.
The Portside artists currently canvassing for ears for their Site 15 album which contains their recent cut Gboza revealed Mugeez and him had been through too much to care about second opinions about their art and craft.
“The hate is normal for me at this point, even Mugeez who is so cool get hate so I’m cool and used to it now. A lot of the time it’s about petty stuff. I think a lot of these statements are because I win a lot. Because if you know my story and where I’m coming from, I can’t take these things serious because we being here is a bonus. We are not supposed to be here. We were supposed to be walking around aimlessly in Community one, Site 15, so for us to be here, and for us to be able to actually put this whole R2Bees movement together, going on tours in Europe, America, Africa and not just Ghana… And all this starting from community one Site 15. Come on, they can say whatever they want to say.”
Looking back at when the duo was struggling to survive; Paedeezy added;
“Our lives have changed enormously. We used to hustle to eat, to get a decent meal to eat before all this fame and money was a struggle. People don’t even see traces of the struggle on us now because we are really fresh now, so they think we are some dadaba boys but we grew up in a really hard place and situation.”
